Description
The peaks were white, the sky unusually blue, a feeling of wonder. Walking in the mountains was completely natural for Pietro since childhood – his father took him there, enchanted by them, and in his checkered shirt, corduroy pants, wool sweater, and hiking boots, he became a different person. This dusty, sunburned, tired, and happy mountaineer bore no resemblance to the solitary and angry chemist suppressing his anger at the whole world. Pietro wandered the mountains with his friend, with whom he shared a silent but strong friendship, and returned to build a house there with his own hands.
