Description
The murderer is among us - on the train. Hercule Poirot, whose urgent telegram calls him back from Istanbul to England, barely secures a place on the luxurious Orient Express. On the train, he is approached by a wealthy American, Ratchett, who requests protection because he fears for his safety. The detective declines, and the next morning the man is found stabbed in his compartment. Subsequently, the train gets stuck in a snowdrift, leaving the passengers and crew at the mercy of fate.
