Description
Stories are like wild animals. When you set them free, they can cause a lot of damage. Exactly seven minutes past midnight, a monster visits thirteen-year-old Conor. However, he is not scared, because nothing can be worse than the nightmares that have been haunting him lately. Worse than the reality he lives in. Worse than the fact that his mom is seriously ill, his dad is somewhere across the ocean with a new family, and all he has left is a strict grandmother with whom he doesn't get along. Now that he has fallen out with his best friend, there is no one to whom he can say that his classmates either avoid looking at him or bully him at school. Why should he be afraid of a mysterious apparition from ancient times, hiding in the form of an old tree behind the house, claiming that he called it himself? It comes to tell Conor three stories.
