Description
Marian is half English and half French: simply the ideal candidate for the British parachute unit in France during World War II. In 1943, after rigorous training, she is placed near Paris at just twenty years old, where she is to help the local resistance and arrange for the emigration of a prominent physicist, Clément – a family friend and her own platonic love from her teenage years.
