When Englishman Tom accepts a teaching position at a prestigious Argentine boarding school, he has no idea that he will smuggle a penguin back from a trip to Uruguay, which he saves from an oil spill. It quickly becomes clear that having the feathered friend Juan Salvador is a lot of fun, despite the tough times of the Peronist government. The unexpected 'pet' becomes the mascot of the rugby team, a confidant of the landlady, a star of parties, and even a swimming coach... A surprising South American adventure with an unusual partner is narrated with renowned British humor and perspective. Length of the recording: 6 hours 33 minutes. Featuring: Kryštof Hádek.
