Honza kills a dragon and thus wins the hand of the princess. But what happened next? The ordinary and uncouth Honza does not appeal to the princess. He lacks manners, and even the court etiquette teacher Valerián cannot handle his ways. On the other hand, Prince Egon, the ruler of the neighboring kingdom, is quite different. Honza realizes that the princess loves another, and so he returns her word. Only when Egon shows his true face does the princess realize how wrong she was.
