Description
The blue square box contains twelve CDs featuring complete, faithful recordings of Karel Šiktanc’s fairy tales from his books Royal Fairy Tales (1994) and About Good and Evil Powers (2000). Director Jaroslava Šiktancová recorded the stories in a simple spoken style, without music or sound effects, to emphasize the text and the poet’s language. More than sixteen hours of recordings are performed by nine Prague actors, with one fairy tale read by the author himself. The CDs come with a map of the zodiac signs to which the individual fairy tales relate. The recordings are in Czech.
