Description
Musician and publicist Jiří Plocek, a former member of the popular band Poutníci, along with Jitka Šuranská, a holder of the Anděl award for the album Písňobraní, has approached his first solo and, in a way, retrospective project Cestou k naději as a report. We journey with him and his music through various musical landscapes that intertwine with the real world. The sounds of a train station, a pub, or liturgical compositions alternate with old folk songs, colorful instrumental pieces of more recent origin, or the medieval hymn of Saint Thomas Aquinas. The journey concludes with the symbolic song Wayfaring Stranger, in which the traveler crosses the Jordan River.
