After a series of albums of set poetry, Vladimír Veit, one of the members of the former singer-songwriter group Šafrán, recorded twenty-three of his new songs. It seems as if the author has achieved the impossible: to momentarily stop time. Can we still do that? The songs will help us, but how long that precious moment lasts depends only on us. The singer-songwriter deliberately does not seek a new sound, does not want to be content-wise revolutionary, eccentric, or chillingly current. The album brings the typical Veit with his songs about loves, women, human relationships, as well as about cats and dogs. Overall, the intimate and quiet poetry of everyday life on a record full of subtle yet memorable melodies connects in its form and content to the sixties, when the best of Czech urban songwriting was born.
