The musical group CrossOver Sextet is already established in our music scene and is known for its distinctive genre blending of chamber classical and jazz music. The debut album 'In the Middle of Time' brings a collection of thirteen original songs by composer Marek Novotný, with lyrics by Lucie Vojtková, and one song features a text from a sonnet by William Shakespeare. The sextet recorded the album with the following lineup: Josefína Čermáková (vocals), Pavel Hrala (violin), Anna Kalhausová (cello), Max Makagonov (double bass), Tomáš Hobzek (drums), and Marek Novotný (piano). The original concept, with a strong element of vocal arrangements, where all members of the sextet are not only instrumentalists but also vocalists, is further enhanced by the participation of a fourteen-member choir and other guest musicians. ***** CONTENT 1.
