Poťouchlosti - Živé nahrávky z let 1986 a 1989 - 2 CD

The double album by Jiří Dědeček titled Poťouchlosti contains recordings from two long-ago concerts from the 1980s: the first from Petynka in Prague in 1986 and the second from Porta in Plzeň in July 1989. Both concerts are the essence of pure Dědeček – there is poetry, sarcasm, and irony. The author has never hidden his opinions and has never 'sugar-coated' anything or anyone. The recordings may not be technically perfect, but they exude charm and wit. The songs mostly belong to the staples of Dědeček's repertoire, and the spoken word recalls the undeniable role of singer-songwriters in the era of ending socialism. In his accompanying note, however, the author points out: 'The listener can assess the degree of anti-state mischief within the three years leading up to the Velvet Revolution, which I certainly do not boast about and do not wish to present myself as a hero.
