Description
Fans had to wait a long seventeen years for the new, fourth album of the unmistakable singer-songwriter Jiří Konvrzek. The album titled Spadlo contains thirteen new songs and was recorded at the Soundevice studio at the turn of December 2021 and January 2022. The author is accompanied only by the predominantly jazz double bassist Petr Dvorský. Everything else remains the same: raw recordings, original vocal expression, distinctive phrasing, and unique lyrics that resemble nothing else. The genre-defying songs are full of absurd drama, Dadaist poetry, and evoke sad grotesques.
