Velká bouda - CD

The brilliantly mixed combination of musical influences and life episodes of the individual protagonists of the band makes the album Velká bouda a surprising mix of an invigorating organism. Each individual adds their piece of the mosaic to the imaginary pot, and with exaggeration and humor, sometimes with a certain melancholy, naivety, or perverse clumsiness, they narrate their feelings or experience their stories, wrapping them together with others in a perfect musical coat infused with the folk smoke of the American South, the European center, and the dry ice from an abandoned beat club somewhere after a prom dance. The connection between the individual tracks does not immediately emerge before the listener but remains hidden somewhere deeper, in the area of the temporal lobe, creating a certain tension between the pieces. However, the contradictory feeling is not explicitly unpleasant. The transitions are accompanied by playfulness and a kind of seemingly elusive respect for absurdity, which gives the listener a certain calmness that everything makes sense, even though it cannot be precisely said whether the creators are joking with us or are serious. It seems we are willing to accept this and reconcile ourselves with the fact that some questions simply cannot be answered definitively, which can ultimately enhance the strong...
