Jiří Dědeček's album I Won't Live in Québec brings a new repertoire from the author after eleven years since the release of the CD recorded with the band Úterý. Traditionally raw and straightforward songs like Potkan, Sněmovní, Udavači, or Kardinál are complemented by two musical adaptations of blasphemous poems by František Gellner, a trio of his previously unrecorded translations of songs by Georges Brassens, and there is also the country & western track Zmrzlý dřevař. The recording of fourteen songs with a tragicomic touch was created in the 3bees studio, where the author returned sonically to the times of his beginnings, accompanying himself only with guitar or ukulele. The cover was created by the proven duo Karel Haloun and Luděk Kubík.
