Description
When the communists brought the "breakup" of the famous duo Vodňanský & Skoumal to a close, both artists sought new spaces for their creativity. Petr Skoumal focused on writing music and later playing in Mišík's band Etc..., while Jan Vodňanský emigrated, unlike most, to the East - to Slovakia. In 1983, he met university student and composer Ivan Mizerou from the GUnaGU theater in Poprad, and together they wrote a number of new songs, in which Jan Vodňanský was largely inspired by the linguistic specifics of Slovak. Their joint "federálny textappeal" resonated in many variations on various stages, and later both pursued their own projects and professions. Now, after more than thirty years, they have recorded their former repertoire on a joint studio album. CONTENT 1. I Invite You to the Karakum Desert 2. I’ll Take the Balls, I’ll Take the Cue 3.
