Description
Rozhledna is the third studio album by singer-songwriter Petr Linhart, formerly a member of the bands Majerovy brzdové tabulky and Čp. 8., a man inspired by landscapes and their stories. Rozhledna stands somewhere in the Czech-German border region, but in good weather, you can even see the tower of the church in Zaječí in South Moravia and a few times a year, even the distant Pacific. From Rozhledna, you can still see the long-gone towns of Most and Přísečnice, a piece of old Kladno, the valley of Johann Anton Breite, the pilgrimage chapel of Kristýna Ringlová, angels in the sky, and the most beautiful girls from Ústí nad Labem. And also Jezerský vrch, where you will grow wings. The album was recorded by musicians from Linhart's accompanying group 29 Saiten, consisting of Josef Štěpánek, Marek Štifter, Jan Kořínek, Jan Lstibůrek, and David Landštof. Guests appearing here include František Segrado, Iva Pazderková, Petra Lstibůrková, Michaela Páchová, and Marcel Bárta. The graphic design of the album Rozhledna was handled by Karel Haloun and Luděk Kubík.
