One of the most significant recordings of Czech rock from the 1980s is now being released for the first time in its complete and remastered form. Precedens was an extraordinary and artistically mature ensemble in the first two years of its existence. The gloomy and harsh vocals of Jan Sahara Hedl matched the bleak atmosphere of the songs, while Bára Basiková created a remarkable contrast with her pure, ethereal soprano. The interplay of guitars and keyboards was also based on a similar clash of rock rawness and almost somnambulant detachment. A secretly recorded studio album from 1984 was released in a shortened version on vinyl in 1991, but it has long been unavailable. Now, the complete studio recording is supplemented by a second disc featuring a different repertoire from 1982. The extensive booklet includes all the lyrics, numerous photographs, and the history of the group. Duration: 1 hour 47 minutes.
