Description
The latest album by Jiří Mazánek, a musician, music editor, ethnomusicologist, yoga and tantra teacher, features his traditional spiritual and meditative music, which incorporates elements of overtone singing. The internal structure of the album is divided into twelve parts, expressing all levels of human existence and the necessary elements, as the author himself states in the introduction. For the recording, he used instruments from around the world, from the Arabic lute to Mayan percussion and instruments from the indigenous peoples of Central and South America, as well as Czech pods. Traditional Tibetan temple trumpets and ritual Hindu shells are also included. All the instruments are presented in detail in the author's dedicated note in the booklet.
