Description
Milan Valenta started as a singer-songwriter in the 70s and 80s, a laureate of the Šafrán competition for young talents for the Bird Noha, a guest at Jaroslav Hutka's concerts in Čáslavská and Baráčnická rychtě, later a solo singer-songwriter at his own or joint recitals at the Theatre in Nerudovka. In the late seventies, he was a member of the alternative group Amalgam (along with Vlastimil Marek and Jiří Mazánek), whose activities peaked with participation in the 8th Prague Jazz Days in 1979. In the 80s, he performed at joint concerts with Jiří Mazánek or with Petr Lutka, accompanied by Petr Freund.
