Description
The wall map in a modern and clear design displays the history and present of European integration. The map is an ideal tool for navigating current events as the Czech presidency in the European Union approaches. The main map, at a scale of 1:5,000,000, shows the members of the •European Union, •NATO, •European Free Trade Association, and further includes •candidates for EU membership, •countries with an association agreement with the EU, •countries participating in the Schengen Agreement, •countries using the euro, •main EU institutions. The side maps illustrate the historical development of the EU and the EU's overseas territories. A timeline summarizes the key milestones in the development of European integration. A differently expressed view of the current state of European integration is provided by a diagram with flags of individual countries. The map comes with white plastic strips.
