Description
A group of five young men with guns, pursued by thousands of soldiers, confronts the limits of their own fear and courage in a fight for survival. A family whose members resisted both Nazi and communist totalitarianism. One of the greatest stories of the Cold War about the resistance group of brothers Josef and Ctirad Mašín. The Mašín family becomes a target of persecution in communist-controlled Czechoslovakia, and the brothers believe that, following their father's example, a hero of the anti-Nazi resistance, the only way to fight against dictatorship is with a weapon in hand. They establish a resistance group and become the most wanted men in the country. They prepare a plan to escape to West Berlin, where they plan to join the American army to liberate Czechoslovakia. The search for the five members of the resistance group continues in East Germany, where one of the largest manhunts in modern history begins.
