Description
Somewhere in the endless swamps of Louisiana, a drama unfolds involving members of the American National Guard, who, due to pettiness, find themselves in a fierce confrontation with the locals during military training. A trivial theft leads to unnecessary bloodshed, and the struggle for survival in the swamps begins to resemble the Vietnam War more than strikingly. For the members of the 'weekend' army, routine exercises in the Louisiana swamps suddenly turn into a literal hell on earth from which there is no escape.
