Description
Six-year-old Sally, after the death of her father who tragically died while working on ancient Mayan monuments, immerses herself in her inner world and refuses to communicate with those around her. Her mother Ruth (Kathleen Turner) seeks help from psychiatrist Beerlaner (Tommy Lee Jones), a specialist in childhood autism. However, Ruth initially rejects this diagnosis and tries to understand the true cause on her own. Ultimately, she is helped by her older son Michael, who introduces her to Sally's special world - a house made of cards, postcards, and old family photographs.
