Description
The film is a humorous confrontation of the Czech landed gentry society at the beginning of the republic with romanticism, as if cut out from old times. Its representative is Prince Megalrogov, a man from the lineage of Baron Prášil, but also of Don Juan and Don Quixote, or Nash's Rainmaker. A charming braggart, about whom no one knows anything, who appears from nowhere and disappears into the unknown, yet his appearance and behavior, reminiscent of fairy tale and dreamlike characters, significantly set him apart from other people.
