Description
This comedy is filled with absurd twists, mistaken identities, confusion and revelations. Its heroes are Jarda Zemánek and Franta Liška, two petty criminals to whom nothing is sacred. Hardly have they left prison, where they ended up after an unsuccessful alcohol theft, when they become involved in another scam. The pair are hired by the owner of a beauty salon at the Imperial Hotel, who is working with Docent Mlejnek from a research institute where a device for regenerating old dairy cows has just been invented. He wants them to obtain an exact copy of the device, which is supposed to restore lost youth to wealthy ladies. There is, however, a catch: anyone undergoing the treatment must not eat spinach at the crucial moment, because it multiplies the device’s effects.
