Description
Maggie runs away from three different grooms at the altar, and her story becomes a newspaper sensation. Ike Graham, a journalist, turns information overheard in a bar into an appealing article in an attempt to regain the editorial office’s favor. Maggie denies the story and threatens to sue the paper for publishing details of her private life, so Ike travels to her hometown to find evidence. A fourth wedding is approaching there, and he meets all her former fiancés, friends, family and Maggie herself. Ike becomes a new problem for her, and the planned wedding once again ends badly. When Maggie finally finds the right man, however, she goes to him and proposes. This Czech- and English-language romantic comedy stars Julia Roberts and Richard Gere and is directed by Garry Marshall.
