Description
This Czech-language animated children’s DVD presents the first fairy-tale adventures of the little water-sprite Rákosníček. He races the Big Dipper and discovers what comes of it, saves lamb-shaped clouds from the celestial Eagle, fails to earn a star, and helps Aquarius bring back the rain. He rescues the North Star from a ray of sunlight, tries to save a crayfish until his head spins, and fails to keep watch over the Moon with the Little Dog and Big Dog. He frees an enchanted swan that was not enchanted at all, makes an ice rink in the sky and wonders why people call it the Milky Way, outwits the celestial archer, turns a celestial dragon into a carousel, fails to obtain the heavenly Crown, and returns a wandering star to the celestial Shepherd. The stories are narrated by Jiřina Bohdalová.
