Description
Father Jeremej decided to recount everything in his imperial realm. He counted and multiplied, chasing scribes to ensure they didn't forget even the freckles on the faces of his subjects' children. However, while resting by a forest spring, he was caught by the wizard Čudo Judo, and the tsar had to promise that he would pay for his freedom with something he did not yet know in his realm. Yet he knew every blade of grass, every little herb, so he was not afraid of his promise. When he returned to the palace, he was met with a surprise: a heir to the throne was born to the empress. Jeremej realized that the wizard had cruelly outsmarted him, but his advisors suggested that instead of his own Andrei, he should give Čudo the son born to the fisherman's wife...
