The book ?udská totalita is a kind of symbolic culmination of the author's rich body of work, the essence of his creative and social experience. It is a selection of personal confessions, attitudes, polemics, and opinions on topics he considered most essential. These primarily include the themes of freedom and equality, poetry, literary creation and creation in general, rationality, and imagination. Albert Marenčin was an important cultural witness not only of the twentieth century but also of the first decades of the new millennium. His perspective on culture, not just Slovak culture, is immensely valuable, especially in its relevance and sharpness of view. The audiobook was produced by the Institute of Film, Television, and Radio Creation as part of the project SGS/05/2023 titled Slovenská audioknihovna / Slovenská audioknižnica IV at the Faculty of Philosophy and Science of Silesian University.
