Description
Czech Spotted cattle belong to the group of Mountain Spotted cattle breeds, whose country of origin is Switzerland. Their coat is red and white, with the head and lower parts of the legs mostly white and colored patches covering the rest of the body. Adult cows stand 140–144 cm at the withers and weigh 650–750 kg. This dual-purpose breed provides both milk and meat, with production divided in a ratio of 60:40. Milk production is 6,000–7,000 kg per lactation, with a high fat and protein content.
