Description
The well-known story of Prague’s Mydlář executioner family is both a historical novel and a chilling tale. The compelling voice of actor Miroslav Táborský guides listeners through medieval Prague, its dark corners and execution grounds. The story reveals not only the world of instruments of torture, but also the hidden side of many events in Czech history, which the executioner Mydlář observed. Against the backdrop of major historical events, criminal cases and trials from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries unfolds a tale filled with fear and cruelty. Numerous sound effects and ambient noises enhance the recording’s terrifying, almost horror-like atmosphere. The contents are in Czech.
