Prague Spring Festival Vol. 2 Blue Edition - CD

The Prague Spring Festival offered its listeners at the DOX+ Center for Contemporary Art in 2022 a new format dedicated solely to contemporary music – Prague Offspring 2022. The first edition took place over the weekend of May 27 and 28. It presented not only Czech but also foreign contemporary composers, and selected Austrian composer Olga Neuwirth as its resident artist, who has been a sought-after artist in recent decades. The world premieres of the works you will hear on the CD were provided by the orchestra specialized in contemporary music, Klangforum Wien, which will deepen its collaboration with Prague Spring in the upcoming editions. This CD features recordings of all six works that premiered, along with a sample of the work of the resident composer of the first edition of Prague Offspring, Olga Neuwirth.
