A unique combination of soprano and harp in the song cycles of Benjamin Britten, Petr Eben, Bohuslav Martinů, Leoš Janáček, and Sylvie Borodová. Two renowned contemporary musicians represent the peaks of their fields. One is a recognized harpist and harp educator with a rich concert and recording activity, while the other is a leading opera soloist who is achieving success both at home and abroad. The joint activities of both ladies date back to 2017, when they received the CLASSIC PRAGUE AWARDS for their recital and live recording of songs with harp. Soprano Kateřina Kněžíková is one of the most promising singers of the young generation, who, alongside opera, is increasingly focusing on concert repertoire, where she achieves success not only at home but mainly abroad. She dedicates herself to the interpretation of baroque and classical works, 19th-century operas, and contemporary music. The core repertoire includes works by A. Dvořák, B. Martinů, and L. Janáček, as well as song literature. She is a laureate of several singing competitions, the Classic Prague Awards 2018 for the best chamber performance, and the Thálie Award 2019 for outstanding stage performance in the production of Julietta or The Dream Book (B.
