Description
Captain Exner is once again dealing with the disappearance of two wealthy older sisters from a Prague apartment building, where a successful painter, an experienced old lawyer, and well-known actors also reside. And where there is a bit of a haunting atmosphere. This is another case for Captain Exner, this time from 1971, when no one can deny him his studio apartment, convertible Mercedes, education, intelligence, wit, sense of humor and irony, or his weakness for women. In this detective story, where everything significant unfolds against the backdrop of the faded glory of an old Prague Art Nouveau building, everything is within reach, yet the murderer escapes until the very last moment. Total time 4 hours 28 minutes.
