Description
The ensemble Opera Trio was formed in 2017 through the joint efforts of colleagues from the Janáček Opera. It loosely follows the previous long-term collaboration of Slovak pianist and conductor Ondrej Olos with Czech cellist and composer Štěpán Filípek. The first important impulse for the ensemble was the arrangement and performance of the Oboe Trio by František Emmert, when the talented Brno oboist Barbora Šteflová joined the mentioned interpreters. The CD Emmert-Dlask-Nota-Demoč: works for oboe trio is released as the culmination of the long-term project "František Emmert and his students," which took place between 2017-2019. The project was contributed to by Emmert's former students with their new compositions: Brno composer Vojtěch Dlask (Querelle Trio and Nuit et Solitude), Vienna author Lenka Nota (Agnus dei), and Slovak composer Adrian Demoč (Blue Flowers).
