Duo - CD

The collaboration between Jana Koubková and Ondřej Kabrna began in 2004. With this CD, we want to pay tribute to our wonderful fifteen-year partnership, whether in a jazz quartet or in a bluesier and beat-oriented setup. We also really enjoy playing as a duo, and our repertoire is very diverse. We are not bound by anything; we literally play and can surprise ourselves with our unique improvisations... A big thank you goes to Czech Radio Olomouc not only for inviting us to perform at the 33rd International Prix Bohemia Radio Festival but also for brilliantly recording our entire concert. The concert has a wonderful atmosphere, thanks to the audience, and is captured on the CD without any interference. Ondra enjoyed the beautiful sound of the Petrof grand piano, and I eagerly presented our repertoire, including my sound-evoking rhythmic bird poetry.
