Life? That's what I live. And what I hold on to. The excellent Czech actor Luděk Munzar first presented himself as a writer in 1998. His autobiographical book "...when I promised it!" follows the story of a boy who gazes enchanted at the sky and whispers to his father: "I will be a pilot." The promise made to his father is then repeated in manhood at the bedside of a sick friend, and he dedicates the course of his life to that promise. The book, which Luděk Munzar recorded for Czech Radio in 2017, is far from just being about the spoken promise and the tormenting journey to fulfill it. It is primarily about human desire, honor and character, as well as love, the strength of friendship, and great human passion. The main theme of your book is the promise you made as a little boy to your dad that you would become a pilot. Perhaps your dad just wanted one thing from you: that you wouldn't forget to be happy and free. That's why I loved flying.
