September 24, 1998…………………………… 35:52 When a social mini center of nostalgia was established in Šemanovice near Kokořín in the mid-nineties, Czech Radio began recording programs titled Nostalgické muzeum zábavy here starting in 1997. To this day, these public recordings are made as Nostalgické muzeum Ondřeje Suchého. The fact that in 1998 the master of words Miroslav Horníček was willing to come and entertain us – as he said: "I came to hang out" – was truly a significant event for us at that time. Therefore, I prepared very thoroughly for these two meetings in front of the radio microphones in a hall filled to the last seat. The friendship that developed between us (and at the end of which Miroslav Horníček asked me to address him by his first name) was cruelly short due to his deteriorating health...
