Description
An exciting spy novel that grabs you and doesn't let go. Nelson DeMille returns to the disaster of flight TWA 800, in which 230 people died. At dusk on a beach in Long Island, Bob Mitchell and Janet Whitney indulge in romantic pleasures, filming everything with a camera set up to capture every risqué detail. Suddenly, the night sky is illuminated by a massive explosion. As police cars rush to the scene of the disaster, the couple grabs the camera and disappears. Five years after the accident, the crash of flight 800 is attributed to mechanical failure. However, for John Corey and Kate Mayfield from the elite FBI counter-terrorism unit, the case is not closed. Suspecting an attempt to cover up the case coming from the highest circles, and against orders, they decide to obtain evidence that will reveal the truth about what really happened to flight 0800 – a videotape capturing the romantic antics on the beach and the final moments of the doomed plane. Total time 6 hours 31 minutes.
