Description
A dramatization of a well-known detective novel set in the world of a wealthy New York family, where an unexpected murder occurs. Nineteen-year-old Irene Hadley is about to get married when she meets the charming worldly man Don Saxby. Irene decides to cancel her planned wedding and impulsively focuses on her relationship with her new acquaintance. However, it turns out that Saxby is a professional seducer, and when the girl goes to his apartment for an explanation, she finds him dead. An investigation begins, during which hidden relationships and small dramas come to light, leading to an unexpected conclusion.
