An American alternative rock band from Tennessee, primarily led by producer, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter Matt Mahaffey. In 2004, sElf recorded the album Ornament & Crime. However, the recording, produced by Mario C (Beastie Boys, Jack Johnson), was not released on the original date due to the sale of the record label. After thirteen years, the lost album is finally released as part of a catalog activity alongside other sElf titles, and a rare record Prono, Mint & Grime, which serves as a sort of contemporary supplement, is also released.
