Mandalorian: Výpravy

After a lone bounty hunter accepts a highly lucrative assignment one day, he finds himself caught up in dramatic events that test his abilities and change the course of the entire galaxy. This cooperative game places players in the roles of the Mandalorian and his allies, allowing them to experience daring missions inspired by the first season of The Mandalorian. Players advance together through individual missions, complete their objectives and try to overcome enemy forces and unexpected complications. If they complete the mission objective, they win; the failure of a single character means the immediate defeat of the entire group. Each game takes place on a unique map in the mission book. The maps depict different environments and situations in which the characters move, fight enemies and interact with threat tokens and special features. During their turns, players place skill cards in action positions and, after performing their actions, resolve events and any crises representing enemy counteractions and other dangers. Designed for one to four players, the game requires careful coordination of turns and decisions. Each event resolution can activate enemy movement, attacks or the deployment of reinforcements, creating constant pressure as players pursue the mission objective. Players must consider not only the immediate benefits of their actions, but also how their choices affect the strength of action positions and subsequent events. Players choose from eight different characters, each with a character card and skill deck. These cards determine the strength and special abilities of actions such as movement, attack, exploration and planning. Using skills correctly and coordinating the characters are essential for completing more difficult missions. During the game, characters can also acquire plan cards that provide powerful one-time effects at critical moments. Threat tokens representing enemies and special features make progress through the missions more difficult. Enemies have health and often special abilities such as patrol, hook or sabotage, which can injure players or otherwise complicate their strategy. Risky moves and high action strength can trigger a crisis and summon additional reinforcements, so players must proceed cautiously and thoughtfully. The game uses a tutorial deck that gradually adds new rules, cards and components, allowing each playthrough to introduce new possibilities and game modes. Some of these also feature a hidden-motives mechanism, in which a secret traitor may infiltrate the players and disrupt their cooperation. The game is in Czech.
