XIII. Století: Intacto - CD

In 2016, the legendary XIII. století will celebrate its 25th anniversary since its founding. On this occasion, the quartet recorded a new studio album titled Intacto. The group prepared the new material for about a year. In September 2015, they locked themselves in the Benas studio, and in the following months, they worked on the final sound mastering and album cover. The quartet will present itself in this lineup: Petr Štěpán, Kateřina Kameníková, Jindřich "Henry" Dostál, and Pavel Štěpán. It is a powerful, sonically rich album, on which the group confirms its distinctive style in many ways. In a gothic guise, we also find musically developed compositions, where many will be surprised by the use of acoustic guitar or piano. The lyrics by Petr Štěpán, which encompass the entire work of XIII. století, achieve an unusually impressive resonance and another authorial dimension on this album. The album "Intacto" will be released on February 5 by Warner Music. "The new album Intacto will satisfy the thematic choices, both musically and lyrically, all the demands of XIII. století fans. However, they will also find something extra. Intacto is at times surprisingly poetic, almost softly kind.
