Description
This expansion for Heat: Pedal to the Metal turns the cars on the track into intelligent, automated legendary drivers. They can enrich solo races or fill the starting grid in multiplayer games, bringing faster, sharper and tougher opponents with new abilities and adjustable difficulty. The Star module introduces changing abilities that activate during the race, while the Rivals module creates genuine opponents who can dramatically affect the standings. Up to twelve cars can be controlled by the game, allowing players to simulate a full starting grid without additional human participants. The expansion increases replayability, fits naturally into the championship system and adds new strategic decisions as players consider both their own moves and the possible reactions of automated rivals. It requires the original Heat game to play, adds no new cars and instead provides cards that allow any number of cars to act as legendary drivers.
