The heart of the game is the action card system, which you will use to perform actions. The power of these actions will grow with each additional card of the same type played. You will travel across Europe, visiting cities, universities, and ancient lands. You will fill your personal library with volumes of wise books, and you will always learn something new in lectures. Together with students, you will conduct experiments, develop theories, and uncover the secrets of alchemy. However, scientific research needs to be financed with hard-earned money, and the help of some existing grandmasters of the academic community will certainly come in handy! In addition to the base game, this edition also includes the expansion Great Discoveries and 2 promo grandmaster cards. Great Discoveries is divided into two expansion modules that you can incorporate into the game either separately or both together. The Advanced Lectures module contains new action cards with advanced effects.
