This board game teaches English through play. Players begin on a game board in the Czech Republic and set out with their playing pieces on an adventurous journey to England; the first player to reach the finish wins and speaks English. Along the way, they draw cards and complete tricky tasks, riddles, translations and situations they may genuinely encounter in life. The 360 game cards help players progress from complete beginners at A0/A1 level to advanced learners at C1, in both British and American English. The cards connect and build on one another, and include grammar explanations, examples and QR codes linking to short supplementary video lessons, so players learn to understand how English works rather than simply memorising it. The game is suitable for younger and older players, from complete beginners to advanced learners. Its unique system means that even a beginner can playfully defeat an experienced speaker. It is a Czech handmade game with wooden playing pieces and laminated cards, suitable for two or more players, couples, schools, friends and the whole family.
