This story-driven murder mystery game is inspired by classic detective puzzles, with players taking on the roles of the story’s characters. Unlike traditional mystery games, players compete against one another and there is no game moderator. Each player experiences a unique story from their character’s own perspective. In Dead Monkey, Don Vito Sovetta, the feared boss of the Sovetta crime family, assembles a group of trusted associates for Operation Jungle, a daring robbery at the Centralia bank. The reward is Wunderbar, a priceless golden artefact. The operation is swift and successful, or so it seems. When the group celebrates in their hideout, the power suddenly goes out. Afterwards, Mr Monkey’s body is discovered. Everyone is hiding something, and one of you risks more than the exposure of your true identity. The truth lies beneath layers of secrets and betrayal, and one of you is the murderer. Can you uncover the culprit before it is too late? This Czech-language game is for 5–7 players and lasts approximately 120 minutes.
