Description
Heretic: Expeditions into the Wilderness is the second major expansion for Heretic: The Doom of Roanoke. It adds new villagers, card types and mechanics, creating fresh strategic challenges. Nine villagers remain under suspicion, and only the witch knows who is who. On their turns, both players place action tokens on villager cards to use their abilities, draw and play cards, gain influence and try to maintain the balance of power. The witch can now use development cards to access stronger abilities for her familiar or assist with spells. The hunter can embark on daring expeditions to discover valuable resources or vital information. The wilderness is both an opportunity and a threat: will it save the colony, or hasten its destruction?
