The Cat in the Box is a quantum trick-taking card game for 2 to 5 laid-back cats, where your cards have no color until you play them. Guess how many tricks you will take and record your estimate. When you play a card, you place your token on the corresponding position on the research board to create the largest connected area and earn even more points. However, plan your tricks carefully, because you can never assign a number and color to a card that has already been played. This would have catastrophic consequences for the cats. By doing so, you would create a paradox and deduct points for the tricks played. However, if you endure until the end of the round, you will earn points for the tricks you won and for the largest area on the research board if you correctly estimated the number of tricks won. 1. The color of your cards is uncertain. 2. You announce the color only after playing the card. 3. You earn bonus points if you correctly guess the tricks won.
