Description
In the Divine Comedy, the poet Dante Alighieri enters hell to find his beloved Beatrice. Under the guidance of Virgil, he descends through the nine circles and witnesses how each sinner is eternally punished in a way as terrible as the sin they committed in life. Inferno (Czech edition) is a strategic game inspired by Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy, in which you will lead your clan in an effort to become the best servants of hell. You will achieve this by collecting cunning points. You primarily earn these points by successfully guiding sinners to the appropriate circles in hell. Throughout the game, players will take turns in a clockwise direction until Dante causes the end of the game. The game board consists of two parts: one displays all 9 circles of hell and the register of souls, while the other represents Florence at the beginning of the 14th century, where Dante lived, with its power games and palace intrigues. Each turn consists of two phases: Hell Phase: The player moves a soul through hell and earns cunning points if they successfully lead it to the appropriate circle. The space where the soul ends its movement also determines two possible actions in the next phase.
